Vernon and Leoma Jenniges, owners of the Jenniges Transfer trucking business, established an educational trust in 1990 with $425,000 that was meant to benefit Springfield area students in post high school endeavors.

Vernon and Leoma did not have any children of their own but as a result of their gift will end up educating a large family of Springfield area students. A friend of Leoma’s shared that Leoma often talked about how important it was for young people to get a good education.
