 Liz Cheney, VP of Philanthropy at Southwest Initiative Foundation, will discuss Charitable Gifts other than cash, giving real examples of people in SW Minnesota who have made gifts of appreciated securities, utilized Qualified Charitable Distributions from IRA’s, given farmland while retaining the income from that land, and Donor-Advised funds.

Liz will review…What motivated these people to give?  Which tools were best to Align Goals with Tools?  What are the basics of these tools that are helpful to understand?
