Melissa White, from Eide Baillly, LLP will be our guest speaker.

Melissa White is Senior Tax Manager located in the Aberdeen, South Dakota office of Eide Bailly where she specializes in assisting clients with the complexities of trusts, estates, and gifting; tax and financial matters during estate administration; tax exempt organization formation and compliance; charitable and planned giving strategies; and individual taxation. She also serves as a member of Eide Bailly’s firmwide Wealth Transition Services team.

Melissa consults with individuals and nonprofit organizations on current and planned charitable giving and the requirements for substantiating charitable gifts. She assists nonprofit organizations, including private foundations, in achieving and maintaining tax-exempt status, and provides income tax compliance and consulting for split-interest and non-exempt charitable trusts.

Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant and Accredited Estate Planner®.  She holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA’s Tax and Personal Financial Planning Sections, South Dakota CPA Society, and the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
