There are several reasons to become a member of Leave a Legacy – Southwest Minnesota.

You have the ability to have your business or non-profit organization’s information available on the Leave a Legacy – Southwest Minnesota website: www.leavealegacyswmn.org. This enables potential customers for the professional members (attorneys, financial institutions, financial advisors) or potential donors to non-profit organizations to learn more and interact in an efficient way.

Networking opportunities will be available for professional members and members of the non-profit organizations to get together at educational sessions which will be held at various geographical settings throughout southwest Minnesota.

These educational sessions will help the professional members and non-profit organizational members to enhance their skills and to better represent clients and ultimately to benefit charities in the many rural communities of southwest Minnesota. Lastly, “a high tide raises all boats” and a coordinated effort via Leave a Legacy – Southwest Minnesota will help sustain and improve our area communities, where we all live and work.

LEAVE A LEGACY Southwest Minnesota as a collaborative effort to educate the public and promote the idea of giving through bequests and estate plans by increasing awareness of and interest in charitable giving options. This effort consists of professional advisors working with nonprofit organizations including social services and arts organizations, places of worship, health agencies, educational institutions and other philanthrop ic associations to expand networking opportunities, continuing educational efforts and collectively promoting donor charitable gifts for our community.
